According to the October 22, 2026 satellite imagery, we observed around 1,901 m² of what looks like sargassum off Sol y Arena Xcalak, about 50 meters from the shore at Xcalak. Sargassum appeared in front of Sol y Arena Xcalak, absent in our previous observation, on Saturday, October 17.
