In the October 12, 2026 satellite imagery we recorded possible sargassum patches off Chablé Maroma, about 170 meters from the shore at Playa Kanai. Together they spanned roughly 2,859 m².  Sargassum appeared in front of Chablé Maroma, absent in our previous observation, on Wednesday, October 7.
