In the September 12, 2026 satellite imagery we recorded possible sargassum patches off Hotel El Caballo Blanco, about 30 meters from the shore at Mahahual Centro. Together they spanned roughly 306 m².  Sargassum appeared in front of Hotel El Caballo Blanco, absent in our previous observation, on Monday, September 7.
