In the October 12, 2026 satellite pass we found no sargassum along NAIA MAR's beachfront, at Playa Gaviota Azul. We checked 103 meters of shoreline and up to 130 meters out to sea, with no sign of sargassum. Sargassum in front of NAIA MAR held steady versus our previous observation, on Wednesday, October 7.
